My First Trip to California

Day 1: May 20, 2008 ~ San Diego

Dinner with my cousin Laurene (Mommy's side) and her boyfriend Matt.

We left home around 4:30 a.m. and flew from Nashville to Denver to Orange County, CA. I love to fly! Then, we drove to San Diego and had dinner in Del Mar with mommy's first cousin Laurene.

May 21st

San Diego Zoo


Sky Buckets! My Favorite.

Our San Diego Zoo experience was spectacular (if not a little bit chilly). My favorite was the Sky Buckets. I also liked the double decker bus ride. Another fun thing was spotting all of the airplanes flying so close overhead throughout the day. After we left the zoo we played in a cool park right there in Balboa Park (the district where the zoo is located).

I liked Mr. Toad's Wild Ride - anything with cars!

I called this the "Sippy Cup" ride.
