Yesterday Mommy took me to Cheekwood Botanical Gardens to see the Scarecrow display and to get some good pictures of me. But her camera battery died! Believe me, she missed some great shots. Here are a few she got before the tragedy.

This is my teacher "Ms. Beth". She is a wonderful preschool teacher. I like it when she reads to us .
This is our reading circle.

Today I celebrated my third birthday with a Monkey-themed party.
Mommy went a little ape with the decorations.
There's an episode of "Curious George" (my favorite show) where George paints a room in Mr. Glass's apartment building to look like a jungle. So, when my friends arrived, we finger painted on the wall.
While my friends painted, I preferred dancing to the music.
From left to right: Will, Brayden, Drew, David, Ben, Lucy and Carson.
Then, Daddy set up the target he'd made for my first birthday and we threw water balloons at it.
While my friends played the banana toss, I preferred playing my keyboard. (You might notice that daddy is pretty wet from the water balloon game. He's wearing one of two monkey shirts he owns. It says, "Who Flung Poo".)
Next it was time for lunch. "Monkey Tails" (Hot dogs) were served. That's my playgroup friend David next to me.
PS -- I'd like to give a shout out to my neighbor Keeli Mullican who could not be at my party because she is in China bringing home her newly adopted sister. And another shout out to my friend Caroline who lives in Florida. A special thank you to Lucy for being my token girl guest!
Later that day ... our neighborhood had a block party.
Here's me and Lucy sitting on a blanket and listening to a band.
My Third Birthday was a BIG day.

Here are a few pictures from my party that Mommy is including for Mimi because Mimi likes to see Mommy's decorations. Mommy moved the monkey clock from my room and put letters around it that spelled "Party Time" on one of the walls. There was a Curious George birthday banner at the top and Mommy used "Curious George" Uno cards that my Aunt Amy gave me last Christmas to decorate above the bead board.
